Drone Video of Armadale Residential Area

Drone Videography Over Armadale’s Residential Growth

At The Flying Emu, we offer cinematic drone video services across Perth’s southern corridor, including the City of Armadale and its fast-growing suburbs like Harrisdale.

From new estates to established neighbourhoods, our drone footage is designed to showcase residential areas with clarity, flow, and a sense of scale. This page features a daytime aerial video flight over Harrisdale — filmed under clear skies, showing rooftops, streets, and local infrastructure from above.

A Closer Look at Harrisdale (City of Armadale)

Harrisdale is one of Armadale’s youngest and most in-demand suburbs — defined by modern homes, landscaped streets, and family-friendly infrastructure. While it may not have heritage buildings or waterfront views, it offers something else: a sense of order, growth, and future focus.

It’s a snapshot of how Perth’s outer suburbs are expanding — and drone footage is the perfect way to document that evolution.

Why We Film Places Like Harrisdale from Above

In suburbs like Harrisdale, the story is told through structure. From the street layout to the spacing of rooftops, there’s an underlying rhythm that’s best appreciated from the sky.

Drone footage helps:

Show planning and land use clearly
Highlight proximity to schools, parks, and amenities
Emphasise the modern, growing feel of newer communities
Create marketing visuals that are clean, confident, and current

Whether you’re a developer, council, or creative agency, these visuals are ideal for building trust and providing context.

We offer cinematic drone video wherever the story calls

We bring professional aerial visuals to every project across Perth’s southern suburbs.

Aerial Tour of Harrisdale in Full Morning Light

Unlike sunset or twilight flights, this drone video was filmed during a clear Perth morning — when the sun is higher, shadows are soft, and the colours are clean. The footage opens with a wide shot over Harrisdale’s rooftops, then gently glides over neat residential blocks, parkland patches, and curving streets.

The goal of this video was to highlight:

The uniform layout of new residential zones
The scale of development across Harrisdale and surrounds
Connectivity of parks, roads, and schools
The overall growth and modern character of Armadale’s urban edge

This is a suburb built with families, commuters, and long-term community planning in mind — and it shows from the air.
